Leaf spoon carving template
An eating spoon with a leaf-shaped bowl: its point sits to one side, with one long edge running straight back from it, and the handle curves away slightly like a stem. This version is for right-handed use.
The PDFs print dark lines on white paper: the A4 one in millimetres, the US Letter one in inches. Open the design in the designer to change the size or shape first. The downloaded SVG opens again in the designer with Open.

It fits at full size on both A4 and US Letter. Print at 100% scale with no margins, then check the scale bar on the sheet with a ruler.
Carving tips
Leave the point a little thicker until the bowl is hollowed, as the grain there runs out and it's easy to break off. Carve the long edge as one clean, flowing cut. A shallow gouge line along the handle makes the stem look complete.
Cut out the top view and trace it on the blank with the grain running along the spoon, as the grain arrow shows. Saw the outline, then draw the side view on the side of the blank for the depth and crank, and carve away everything outside the lines. Read more in How it works.
