Asymmetric eating spoon carving template
A right-handed eating spoon with its tip to one side and a long, slanted lip that meets your mouth square on when the spoon comes up from your right hand. The broad, flat handle ends in an angled cut and leaves plenty of room for decoration.
The PDFs print dark lines on white paper: the A4 one in millimetres, the US Letter one in inches. Open the design in the designer to change the size or shape first. The downloaded SVG opens again in the designer with Open.

It fits at full size on both A4 and US Letter. Print at 100% scale with no margins, then check the scale bar on the sheet with a ruler.
Carving tips
Mark the top view with an R so you keep the hollow on the right face: carved from the wrong side, the slant ends up on the wrong hand. The wide handle is a good place for chip carving or a few gouge cuts. For a left-handed version, switch the symmetry in the designer.
Cut out the top view and trace it on the blank with the grain running along the spoon, as the grain arrow shows. Saw the outline, then draw the side view on the side of the blank for the depth and crank, and carve away everything outside the lines. Read more in How it works.
