Wok spatula carving template
A wok spatula with a wide, flat blade that's angled down from the handle, so it lies flat against the curved side of a wok and keeps your hand clear of the heat.

Carving tips
The downward angle is easiest to carve from a slightly bent branch. From a straight board, keep the angle small. The hanging hole lets it hang by the stove.
Cut out the top view and trace it on the blank with the grain running along the tool, as the grain arrow shows. Saw the outline, then draw the side view on the side of the blank for the thickness and angle, and carve away everything outside the lines. Read more in How it works.
