Crooked spoon carving template
An eating spoon with a pronounced crank and an S-curved handle, the shape you get when you carve from a natural crook in a branch. The bowl is widest near the neck and tapers to a pointed tip.
The “Hook & Crook” template on A4, at full size: top view, side view, grain direction and a scale check to measure after printing.
Open it in the designer to change the size or shape, switch to inches or US Letter, and print it or save it as a PDF. The downloaded SVG opens again in the designer with Open.

Carving tips
Look for a branch that already bends the way the side view does, so the grain runs through the crank instead of across it: the spoon will be much stronger. Trace the side view onto the blank first, then the top view.
Cut out the top view and trace it on the blank with the grain running along the spoon, as the grain arrow shows. Saw the outline, then draw the side view on the side of the blank for the depth and crank, and carve away everything outside the lines. Read more in How it works.
